This full-day tour offers spectacular colorful rock formations, breathtaking Andean landscapes, and stunning views of the Langui-Layo Lagoon. Our tour starts early, from 04:00 am – 04:30 am, when we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to begin an unforgettable journey to Pallay Punchu Mountain, one of the newest natural attractions in the Cusco region.
We will travel south through beautiful Andean landscapes until we reach the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast at a local tourist restaurant.
After breakfast, we continue our journey towards the district of Layo, the starting point of our adventure. Upon arrival, our guide will provide a brief introduction and safety instructions before beginning the hike.
Hike to Pallay Punchu Mountain for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, enjoying spectacular mountain scenery along the way.
Upon reaching the summit, we will explore the impressive colorful formations of Pallay Punchu, take photographs, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Andes. Free time at the viewpoint for approximately 45 minutes.
After the visit, we will descend along the same trail and return to our transportation.
We will then travel back to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a local tourist restaurant.
Finally, we return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 05:00 pm near the city center.
