Our journey begins with pickups directly from Cusco hotels/hostels between 06:20 am – 07:00 am to ensure a smooth start to the day. Once everyone is on board, we head straight to Chinchero. Arriving at 8:00 am, you’ll explore the Chinchero ruins, hapel, and weaving families.
Following Chinchero, it’s a quick journey to the Moray agricultural terraces. You’ll be captivated by the mesmerizing circular agricultural terraces and learn about their historical significance and use by the Incas. Explore this unique site and gain insights into the ingenuity of ancient agricultural practices.
Once done, it’s another scenic drive through the Sacred Valley towards the fascinating Maras Salt Mines, getting there at 11:00 am. Prepare to be amazed by these beautiful sights, featuring 3,000 small salt pools used for salt production since pre-Inca times. This unique landscape is home to thousands of salt pools, which gives it an appearance like no other. You will have time to explore and take Instagram-worthy pictures until 11:45 am.
Around 12:30 pm, we make a 40-minute stop to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch (included in the tour) at a restaurant in Urubamba.
After, we jump onto our private transport and enjoy a scenic drive through the Sacred Valley towards Ollantaytambo, admiring the picturesque landscapes. The Ollantaytambo archaeological site is known as one of the Incas’ most important structures, and your guide will share insights into the Incan architecture and the significance of the location. Discover its culture, history, and magic!
Then, we head straight to Pisac. You’ll explore the Pisac ruins and the vibrant Pisac market, known for its traditional handicrafts and textiles.
After a jam-packed day, we finish our adventure and return comfortably to Cusco, arriving around 7:30 pm to drop you off close to the main square of Cusco.
